Devin Booker (10/30/96) is a shooting guard who currently plays for the Phoenix Suns. He was their first-round pick in 2015, (13th overall) going on to become their main man in the years that followed.
A scoring phenom and the youngest player in NBA history with consecutive 50-point games, Booker has been breaking records since he became the first player in the league to debut at the age of 18 after playing just a year of college basketball.
Here’s a rundown with everything you could possibly need to know about three of the best Devin Booker rookie card options, as well as an investment report looking at the next few years.
Top Investment: Luka Doncic Rookie Cards
As Booker’s RC’s were released in 2015, there’s something to fit almost every budget thanks to the sheer amount of options available. We’ve combed through recent auction data to bring you a list with three top options.
2015 Devin Booker Panini Prizm RC #308
The 2015 Panini Prizm is a great rookie card, featuring a large action shot of the player as he dribbles with one hand. There’s an RC logo located in the top left corner, while the unique background and border design found with Prizm cards is always interesting for potential collectors.
As always, there’s a massive list of Prizm parallels on offer, and many are serial numbered and reasonably rare. It’s a solid Booker RC, and it regularly attracts attention when a gem mint version is sold at auction.
Parallels: Silver Prizms, White Prizms, Red/White/Blue Prizms, Green Prizms, Flash Prizms, Orange Wave Prizms, Ruby Wave Prizms (/350), Light Blue Prizms (/199), Purple Prizms (/99), Orange Prizms (/65), Mojo Prizms (/25), Gold Prizms (/10), Black Prizms (1/1), White Sparkle Prizms (SSP)
Top-Rated Investment: Zion Williamson Rookie Cards
2015 Devin Booker Panini Select RC #203
Similar in many respects to the card discussed above, the 2015 Panini Select also features an image of Booker with a ball clasped in his hands, although the RC logo is on the right, instead of the left.
A range of Prizm parallels can further muddy the waters, but the Select cards are typically much rarer in comparison. You can check by looking at the print numbers, which are listed below.
Most collectors will go with the Prizm cards listed above due to brand recognition, but these are arguably better looking, and they currently sell for a similar price. It could be a good sleeper pick from an investment perspective, especially when looking at the parallels.
Parallels: Silver Prizms, Copper Prizms (/49), Tie-Dye Prizms (/25), Gold Prizms (/10), Green Prizms (/5), Black Prizms (1/1)
2015 Devin Booker Absolute Memorabilia RC #13
If you’re in the mood for something a little different, Booker’s 2015-16 Absolute Memorabilia Next Day card might be the one for you. Part of a set highlighting top rookies from the 2015 NBA Draft, it’s nowhere near as shiny as the Prizm’s listed above, but the addition of an on-card auto should be enough to pique your interest.
There’s an RC logo located below the large autograph in the middle, while the image features Booker in his Phoenix jersey, smiling at the camera. The background is mostly white, but the top corners are red, and will show any chips or flaws almost immediately.
It’s no surprise that mint copies currently sell for almost twice as much as the Prizm cards, but it’s a small price to pay for a signed piece of Booker’s rookie merch. There are no parallels to speak of, which also helps to keep prices high.

Devin Booker Rookie Card: Buyers Guide and Investment Advice
Despite Booker’s best efforts, his rookie cards haven’t really taken off despite his attacking acumen and his point-scoring abilities.

Our Top Pick: 2015 Devin Booker Absolute Memorabilia Next Day #13
Best Card Moderate Bankrolls: 2015 Devin Booker Panini Prizm #308
Our Card Ownership: None
This is partly due to a lack of quality around him, and the fact he has little to no chance of winning silverware with his current team. (Phoenix owner Robert Server is known for spending little, while Booker may be getting restless following his first All-Star appearance.)
This means that glory may only be a trade away, and it’s not like he wouldn’t have a host of potential suitors if he did decide against signing a new contract. The New York Knicks are one of a number of teams that are said to be keeping an eye on the situation.
The son of former NBA star Melvin Booker, Devin clearly has basketball in his genes. The younger Booker could still set more records if he keeps on scoring baskets at his current rate, and there’s no telling how good he’ll be when he hits his physical prime. He could easily spend another decade at the top, adding to his prolific point tally all the while.
The majority of his rookie cards are severely underpriced. Whether it be rare parallels or signed memorabilia, now appears to be a great time to get in on the action if you’re looking at Booker RCs.
Of the three we’ve mentioned, any would make a good investment option. The Prizm has name recognition, the Select has great parallels, and the Absolute has an autograph which helps to set it apart from the rest.
